Roloffs' Visit to Haiti to Air on Little People Big World
Friends of the Orphans was fortunate to host a June visit, taped by TLC, to Haiti by Amy Roloff and her sons Zach and Jeremy, stars of the network’s hit show Little People Big World. On November 22, 2010, at 8:00 p.m. EST, TLC will air the episode, titled “Giving Back.”
In conjunction with her Amy Roloff Charity Foundation (ARCF.org), the family visited areas devastated by the January 2010 earthquake and provided aid to the Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos/Nos Petits Frères et Soeurs (NPH/NPFS, Spanish and French for “Our Little Brothers and Sisters”) orphanage, pediatric hospital and outreach programs.
Friends of the Orphans encourages all of our donors and supporters to tune in to Little People Big World on TLC November 22 to see the positive impact of the Roloff’s visit.
“Friends of the Orphans focuses on transforming the lives of orphaned, abandoned and disadvantaged children in need, and we’re very thankful to the Amy Roloff Charity Foundation for calling attention to the ongoing great need in Haiti,” said Jennifer Rayno, Director of the Haiti Initiative for Friends of the Orphans.
“The visit was very fulfilling and helped spotlight the daily struggle of children and adults there as they slowly rebuild areas devastated by the earthquake. It also demonstrated the generosity of others and how by working together, we can make a big difference in their lives,” she said.
